About Us
Welcome to House of Hounds Retreat - an experience your dog won't soon forget! Whether you want more socialization for your dog during the day or a cozy home for them to curl up at night when you're away, House of Hounds Retreat is your dog's home away from home! We provide a comfortable, open-concept boarding service that is perfect for dogs who need space to play, relax, and run, day or night.
We live in the country on a treed lot with a fully fenced-in yard, located in the small town of Aylesford in Kings County, Nova Scotia.

With all of our years combined, we have been companions to Labrador retrievers, German shepherds, chihuahuas, mixed breeds, a greyhound, and two silken windhounds.
Our current pack includes our beautiful boy, Simon, a silken windhound. He is an easy going dog who is excited to make friends!
